Messier 33, also known as the Triangulum Galaxy, is a spiral galaxy located in the constellation Triangulum. It is the third-largest member of our Local Group of galaxies, after the Andromeda Galaxy and the Milky Way. The Triangulum Galaxy contains about 40 billion stars and is approximately 3 million light-years from Earth. It is thought to be gravitationally bound to the Andromeda Galaxy.
